Share split involving the subdivision of one (1) ordinary share of RM1.00 each held in Zelan Berhad ("Zelan") into two (2) ordinary shares of RM0.50 each ("Share Split")
Kindly be advised of the following :
1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted [ "Ex - Offer" ]
as from : [ 16 July 2007 ]
2) The last date of lodgement : [ 18 July 2007 ]
Remarks :-
"Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place on 19 July 2007 with share split of ZELAN shares of RM0.50 each, any shareholder who is entitled to receive ZELAN share split shares, may sell any or all of his ZELAN shares arising from the share split beginning the Ex-Date ( 16 July 2007).
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 ZELAN shares on cum basis on 13 July 2007, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 18 July 2007. As a result of the share split, 200 ZELAN shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 18 July 2007 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the share split shares of 200 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 16 July 2007 onwards."
